what if those Reds incognito slithering out of shadows in our grand republic, find about this?! Why those commies would surely throw a monkey wrench into our smooth running, high tech infrastructure, thus putting our free society into jeopardy!!! yah know four sure they hate us four are freedums....

The same street Jam Handy's headquarters were located, but here down the boulevard I'm guessing near its intersection with Gratiot as evidenced by the angular intersection. That is probably Forest or Warren Ave crossing there too. A very complex intersection on Detroit's mid-eastside. Maybe a shot of Sears looking north up Gratiot and St Anthony's on the left side. My how clean and well kept. Dare ya to walk that intersection today!
Nice movie. Great shots of the marionettes. Jam Handy quality here for sure.

Nothing about the remote control you lost in the sofa.
Film which explores "remote control" as defined in 1941, and certainly not what it means today. You see , puppeteers? Those are remote controllers! Same with stagehands changing scenery! And you're also remote controlling when changing gears on your Chevrolet! Stuff like that. Very well connected movie.

Short and to the point
Explaning about remote control, this 1941 vintage short film is entertaining.
